Bhubaneswar, Ap 21: In a major initiative to support civil service aspirants, Ganjam District has launched three training centers at Bhanjanagar, Chatrapur, and Berhampur. Students enrolling in these centers are encouraged to work diligently to excel among thousands of aspirants.
The inauguration of the Bhanjanagar Lakshya Niketan Center was presided over by the State Minister for Commerce and Transport, Bibhuti Bhushan Jena, who urged students to pursue success through sustained effort. This program is fully organized by the district administration and offers free coaching to young aspirants preparing for civil service examinations.
Under the supervision of District Collector B. Kirti Bhasan, the centers have been set up with hostels in local city school premises. Around ₹20 lakh has been invested to provide modern amenities including libraries, common rooms, administrative offices, guest rooms, live TV facilities, internet access, air-conditioned rooms, and CCTV surveillance.
For the first time in the district, these centers will provide structured training for civil service exams. In the entrance test held in January, about 700 candidates appeared, of whom 170 passed, and 40 of them are now receiving coaching at these centers.
Coaching will be delivered by experienced instructors from a Delhi-based coaching center through online and live streaming methods. Additionally, IAS and OAS officers from the district will personally conduct sessions at different times, ensuring high-quality guidance for aspirants.
