New Delhi, Jan 23: A full dress rehearsal for the Republic Day parade will take place today on Kartavya Path in the national capital. The rehearsal will begin at 10:30 am from Vijay Chowk and will proceed towards the Red Fort. This event will offer a sneak peek into the upcoming Republic Day celebrations, showcasing India’s heritage, military prowess, and cultural diversity.

During the rehearsal, marching contingents from the Armed Forces and colorful tableaux representing various states will highlight the nation’s strength and unity. The Indian Air Force (IAF) will also perform an exciting aerial display with fighter jets and aircraft soaring above Kartavya Path.

As per the Delhi Police, the parade will follow the route from Vijay Chowk to Red Fort, passing through key areas such as Kartavya Path, C-Hexagon, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Statue, Tilak Marg, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, and Netaji Subhash Marg. Traffic police have advised the public to avoid these routes to prevent congestion.

Delhi Metro services will remain operational throughout the rehearsal, with all stations open to the public, offering a convenient transportation option for commuters.
