Athmallik, Jul 14: A family dispute turned tragic in Odisha's Athmallik after a man allegedly killed his cousin and later surrendered to the police.

The incident took place in Kandhapada village, where Bir Kishore Sahu was allegedly murdered by his cousin, Pradeep Sahu. According to reports, the two had been having a family dispute for a long time, which is believed to have led to the murder.

After the incident, Pradeep Sahu later surrendered at Athmallik Police Station.

Police reached the spot and started collecting evidence. A forensic team is expected to visit the crime scene to assist with the investigation.

The area has been sealed, and no one is being allowed to enter until the forensic examination is completed. Police are investigating the case to find out the exact reason behind the murder.
