DPNG supply launched in Bhubaneswar’s IRC Village under National PNG Drive 2.0

Bhubaneswar, April 16: As part of the ongoing initiatives under National PNG Drive 2.0, the supply of Domestic Piped Natural Gas (DPNG) was successfully launched at N-6, IRC Village in Nayapalli, Bhubaneswar.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi, who formally initiated the DPNG supply in the area.

The event was also attended by Kausik Das, General Manager–CGD and Officer-in-Charge, Bhubaneswar, along with other officials from GAIL CGD and residents of the N-6 locality.

Speaking on the occasion, Das highlighted the benefits of Domestic Piped Natural Gas and outlined GAIL’s roadmap to expand gas connectivity to every household in the area.

In her address, the MP shared her personal experience as a DPNG user and encouraged residents to adopt this clean and efficient fuel. She emphasized the key advantages of PNG, including improved safety, convenience, uninterrupted supply, and cost-effectiveness, urging households to shift towards this eco-friendly energy solution.
