Bhubaneswar/ New Delhi, March 24: Union Education Minister and Sambalpur MP, Dharmendra Pradhan, met with Union Coal and Mining Minister G. Kishan Reddy in New Delhi on Tuesday, urging for incentives for the employees of NALCO (National Aluminium Company).
Pradhan highlighted the remarkable achievement of NALCO’s employees, noting that the company had recorded a historic profit of ₹7,135 crores in the financial year 2024-25. He commended the dedication and hard work of NALCO's workforce, emphasizing that such exceptional performance was the result of their relentless efforts.
“The outstanding success of NALCO in the financial year 2024-25 is a direct outcome of the commitment shown by every employee. Given their contribution, it is only fitting that they be rewarded with appropriate incentives,” Pradhan stated.
Acknowledging Employee Contributions: The management of NALCO has credited the company’s record profit to the diligent work of its employees. This achievement was bolstered by the active involvement of the workers' union (BMS), which helped coordinate proposals for employee incentives.
Recognition in Previous Years: In FY 2021-22, similar performance-based incentives were provided to employees, which fostered increased motivation and enthusiasm among the workforce. This gesture not only acknowledged past contributions but also encouraged future productivity.
