Delhi, April 15: Kalinga Kala Kshetra Foundation Founded by Legendary Guru Pt. Harmohan Khuntia, organised its annual classical concert ‘Swarnasudha’ and Dr Swarna Khuntia Young Artist Award-2026 at Triveni Auditorium, Delhi on Tuesday.
Several distinguished personalities like Padma Bhushan Jatin Das Pt. Ajay Prasanna, VC Prof. R M Joshi and other musicians, government officials, artists and others attended the event as distinguished guests & special invities. Meanwhile, Sandeep Mohanty, a promising & accomplished young Hindustani vocalist was awarded Dr. Swarna Khuntia & Young Artist Award-2026.
Before the formal session, a mass tribute was dedicated for the legendary singer Asha Bhosle ending with a tearful amen. Prof. Basanta Sahu, Secretary Kalinga Kala Kshetra Foundation delivered the secretarial address whereas Pratima Sharma from AIR & Door Darshan moderated the cultural evening as a compere.
Following this, Hindustani Vocal was performed by Sandeep Mohanty, accompanied by Tanish Dholpuri in Sarangi and Fazal Dholpuri in Tabla.
Similarly, Hindustani Violin was played by Pt. Praveen Sheolikar, Bhopal, accompanied by Shubh Maharaj in Tabla.
Later on, Hindustani Vocal was performed by Pt. Malyaban Chatterjee, Kolkata accompanied by Raj Narayan Bhattacharya in Tabla & Kshitij Singh in Harmonium.
Housefull audience were enthralled with the live concerts, People across the country and outside enjoyed the event live that was streamed directly by Door Darshan Delhi.
