Mumbai, Jan 21:The highly anticipated crime drama ‘Daldal’, starring Bhumi Pednekar, has dropped its gripping trailer, offering a glimpse into the intense world of police investigation and psychological turmoil. Set in the bustling city of Mumbai, the series follows a determined police officer, DCP Rita Ferreira (played by Bhumi), as she chases down a calculating serial killer.

In the two-minute trailer, Bhumi showcases a complex character balancing ambition, doubt, and personal struggles, as the murders begin to take a toll on her professional and private life. The trailer hints at a high-stakes, emotional journey for Rita, as the investigation threatens to unravel her carefully constructed world.

Speaking about her role, Bhumi shared, "Playing Rita Ferreira has been one of the most intense and creatively fulfilling experiences of my career. She is a woman forged by ambition, haunted by doubt, and burdened by the weight of her past - a character who demanded that I explore the delicate balance between vulnerability and strength in ways I had never done before."

Directed by Amrit Raj Gupta, ‘Daldal’ is produced by Vikram Malhotra and Suresh Triveni under Abundantia Entertainment. The series is based on Vish Dhamija’s book Bhendi Bazaar, which unravels the meticulous planning of a killer, leaving only few traces behind. The script has been penned by Sreekanth Agneeswaran, Rohan D'Souza, Priya Saggi, and Hussain Haidry.

In addition to Bhumi, the series stars Samara Tijori and Aditya Rawal in key roles. ‘Daldal’ is set to premiere on Prime Video on January 30.
