Bhubaneswar-Singapore Flight Service Cancelled Due to Middle East Conflict

Bhubaneswar, March 30:International flight services between Bhubaneswar and Singapore have been temporarily suspended due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, announced Prasanna Pradhan, Director of Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA), on Monday.

This suspension follows a previous disruption of flights to Dubai, which was also linked to the geopolitical unrest in the region. Currently, the only remaining international flight from Bhubaneswar is the one connecting to Bangkok.

In addition, the airport has released its summer schedule for the year, which includes the temporary discontinuation of several domestic routes. Flights to Indore, Dehradun, and Kochi have been suspended, largely due to fluctuations in seasonal demand.

Addressing concerns, Pradhan assured that there is no shortage of aviation fuel. He emphasized that the suspension of these services is driven solely by seasonal and operational factors, rather than any technical or fuel-related issues.
