Bhubaneswar, Mar 24: A shocking incident occurred in Chandrashekharpur on Patia Station Road when a hotel worker was attacked with a knife by a colleague.

The victim, Ashish Mohanty, was seriously injured after the hotel’s chef, K. Lava Rao, allegedly tried to hack him with a sharp knife. Ashish was found bleeding and was immediately rescued by the police.

He was first admitted to Capital Hospital for emergency treatment and later shifted to a specialised medical facility due to the critical injuries.

The motive behind the attack remains unclear. Chandrashekharpur police have arrested K. Lava Rao and are investigating the case.
