Mumbai, Dec 10: Actor Ahan Shetty’s powerful first look from the highly anticipated film Border 2 has been revealed, and his proud father, Suniel Shetty, couldn’t contain his excitement. The proud dad took to social media to show his support and admiration for his son’s role in the upcoming action film.
On Tuesday, Ahan shared his first look from the movie on his Instagram handle, where he appeared in a fierce, battle-scarred avatar as an Indian Navy officer. Captioning the image, he wrote, "Sarhad ho ya Samandar… Dharti Maa ka har beta ek hi kasam nibhaata hai #Border2 in cinemas 23rd January, 2026." In response, Suniel Shetty expressed his pride by commenting a red heart emoji, while friends and fellow celebrities flooded the post with their reactions.
Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh commented with "Fire," while Ahan’s sister, Athiya Shetty, expressed her excitement saying, “Just toooooo goood!!!!!!! I’m so excited.” Bollywood star Tiger Shroff also shared his enthusiasm, commenting with a simple but powerful, “Woahh.”
In the first-look poster, Ahan is seen in a gripping combat moment, blood smeared across his face, eyes fierce with determination, and a military gun in hand as he stands ready for duty. The intense image reflects the high-stakes action and emotional depth that Border 2 promises to deliver. Earlier, first-look posters of other prominent cast members, including Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Diljit Dosanjh, had also been shared, showcasing their equally powerful avatars.
Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 is set to feature a star-studded ensemble cast, including Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Medha Rana, Mona Singh, and Sonam Bajwa. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, the film is slated for release on January 23, 2026.
On December 4, Ahan Shetty also shared a heartfelt post announcing that he had wrapped up shooting for the film. Reflecting on the journey, he wrote, “That’s a wrap on Border 2. Walking off set today feels heavier than I expected. This film challenged me and gave me moments I’ll never forget. I’m leaving with a heart full of gratitude for our armed forces, the incredible artists I’ve had the chance to share the screen with, and the entire team who have become family.”
He added, “It carries the weight of real stories, real courage, and the patriotism that lives beyond the screen. Thank you, Border 2… this chapter will stay with me forever. Jai Hind.”
