Bhubaneswar, Aug 13: As Odisha prepares for Independence Day, the state government has appointed ministers to raise the national flag in different districts on August 15.
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi will unfurl the national flag in Bhubaneswar. Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Deo will hoist the flag in Keonjhar, and Deputy CM Pravati Parida will attend the ceremony in Cuttack.
Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari will be in Sambalpur, while Rabi Narayan Naik will represent the government in Bolangir.
In Kalahandi, Nityananda Gond will lead the celebrations, and Krushna Chandra Patra will attend Kandhamal’s event. Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan will be in Puri, and Mukesh Mahaling will be in Sundergarh.
Bibhuti Bhusan Jena will represent the government in Gajapati, and Krushna Chandra Mahapatra will hoist the flag in Bhadrak. Ganesh Ram Singh Khuntia will oversee Nabarangpur’s ceremony, while Suryabanshi Suraj will be in Sonepur.
Pradeep Bal Samanta will represent Angul, Gokulananda Mallik will be in Rayagada, and Sampad Chandra Swain will attend the event in Mayurbhanj.
