Bhubaneswar, October 2: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted heavy rain, thunderstorms, and lightning in several parts of Odisha in the next 48 hours. Therefore, IMD has issued a yellow warning for 18 districts of the state.
Thursday: Thunderstorms with lightning are likely in 18 districts, including Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nabarangapur, Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, and Gajapati.
Friday: Light to thunderstorms with lightning is expected in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Angul, and Dhenkanal.
Additionally, moderate rain and thundershowers are predicted for Koraput, Raygada, Jajpur, Khorda, Gajapati, Kalahandi, and Deogarh in the next three hours.
