IMD issues yellow warning for these districts

Bhubaneswar, Aug 25 : The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday issued yellow warning of light to moderate thunderstorm with gusty wind speed reaching 30- 40 kmph, lightning and light to moderate rain for nine Odisha districts. This weather condition will prevail in Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Khurda (including Bhubaneswar city), Nayagarh, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Balasore and Kandhamal. People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
