IMD issues dense fog warning for these 7 districts in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Jan 13: Dense fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Angul, Boudh, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Khurda, Cuttack, Dhenkanal during the next 24 hours, the regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) said today. Dry weather most likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha during this period, it added. Similarly, shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Angul, Boudh, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Khurda, Cuttack, Dhenkanal and at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Mayurbhanj, Puri, Koraput, Malkangiri, Kalahandi, the IMD said. The Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) has directed police and transport officials of respective districts to take necessary steps for controlled plying of vehicles on highways during dense fog to avoid any road accident.
