Bhubaneswar, Oct 20: Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar(IIT-BBS) has celebrated its tenth Convocation ceremony on Wednesday. The function was organized in a hybrid mode in the IIT campus at Odisha's Bhubaneswar in the afternoon. The founder of Infosys Limited, Padma Vibhusan NR Narayan Murthy joined as the chief guest and awarded Doctoral, MTech and Btech degrees to the passed out scholars. During the function, as many as 35 students were awarded Doctors of Philosophy (PhD) degrees. Similarly, a total of 559 students including 153 MTech trainees,79 MSc students,256 Btech graduates, and 36 scholars were given dual degrees. At the same time, Research Scholar of the computer science department, Dinesh Mohanty was awarded the President of India Gold Medal for the current year.
