Bhubaneswar: India born Oscar fame director SS Rajmouli a couple of years ago had reasoned out the bollywood box office woes in 2022 to the astronomical fees the B-town A-list actors charged for acting in a film.
More so, speaking on the raging debate on rising star fee in Bollywood, Karan Johar said the remuneration of movie stars need to be looked at again and many of them are not in touch with reality.
Amidst the 'through the ceiling' acting fee charged by A-list actors, the acting fee of Singham Again roars many a significant trivia.
As per the buzz, Ajay Devgn’s acting fee in Singham again has been Rs 35 crore. But what that pops out is, for a cameo in the film , Khiladi –Akshay –Kumar has charged a whopping Rs 20cr. The other cameo stars in the film acting fee is as follows.
- Tiger Shroff – Rs 3cr.
- Ranveer Kapoor – Rs 10 cr.
The lead actress Kareena Kapoor’s acting fee in the film Singham Again has been Rs 10cr. Interestingly, Deepika Padukone, who dons the lady Singham (supportive) role has charged a fee of Rs 10 cr.

- Akshay Kumar was the costliest star in Bollywood during the Pandemic period. He charged Rs 135 cr per film
- However, the Khiladi Kumar’s current acting fee is Rs 72 cr
- And for the Singham cameo he charged Rs 20cr.
- Salman Khan or Bhaijaan comes 2nd in the costliest list with an acting fee of Rs 100cr.
- The King Khan aka Shah Rukh Khan’s acting fee per film has been Rs 85 cr.
- The perfectionist Aamir Khan charge Rs 80 cr.
- Hrithik Roshan – Rs 75cr
- Ranbir Kapoor –RS 70cr
- Tiger Shroff – Rs 50 cr.
- Ranveer Singh _ Rs 50 cr
- Shahid Kapoor – Rs 38 cr
- Kartik Aryan – Rs 20 cr.
SINGHAM STAR AJAY DEVGN STANDS IN DIFFERENT LEAGUE
Ajay Devgn, the Singham star of B-town, a top-class versatile actor, seems to have a different take when it comes to charging a fortune for acting in a movie.
Here is the first look of the Singham again poster for cinema houses or theatres that is all set to storm the box office on November -1, the Diwali day. The poster was relased by the film makers in Mumbai on October 16.
The life size poster for the theatres shows dressed in black, with the ‘super cop’ chest peeping out, the super cop star Ajay Devgn seems to be in a big roaring mood. The super buzz and high IMDb popular rating hint at the upcoming tsunami at the box office. As per trade analysts, the film, despite clash with Bhool Bhulaiya 3, may mint around Rs 60 cr atleast
Despite listed at number 4 in the B-town Star Power Index, the supercop star charge a very modest fee, when compared with other A-list stars in the B-town.
Sample this. When Ajay Devgn acting fee per film is Rs 35 cr, junior actors like Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh are charging Rs 70cr and Rs 50 cr, respectively.
It is not that the star appeal of super star Ajay Devgn is less glossy than the 2 Ranbirs.

- Ranbir Kapoor sits at number 5
- Ajay Devegn has ten 100cr films
- Ranbir kapoor has only four 100 cr films
- Ajay has three 200cr movies, Ranbir has 2
- However, Ranbir has one 300 cr and one 500 cr movie
- But Ajay Devgn yet to break into the 300cr and 500 cr club
- Ranveer Singh ranked 9th in the Star Power Index.
- He has five 100 cr movies, one 200cr and 0ne 300 cr movies.
The BOTTOMLINE is Ajay Devgn's acting fee is not in commensurate to his star standing. And Oscar fame director SS Rajamouli had, therefore, rightly said how B-town actors’ high price tag proved the nemesis for the bollywood.
