High caseload of dengue in Ganjam, 247 cases recorded so far

Khallikote, Nov 9: The dengue graph has surged upward in Ganjam district as 247 cases of the vector-borne disease have been reported in the district so far. Among these, 194 are local people whereas 53 are migrants. The dengue is spreading significantly in Ganjam as wastewater has accumulated in various places and no steps have been taken to drain it. The locals have alleged that the health department is not taking appropriate steps to prevent the spread of dengue.
