Bhubaneswar, April 30: Odisha reeled under intense heat wave conditions today with as many as 15 places in the state recording temperature above 44 degree Celsius.
While Baripada was the hottest place at 46.4 degree Celsius, it was followed by Balasore at 46 degree Celsius and Bhubaneswar at 45.4 degree Celsius.
Most parts of the state experienced sweltering heat as 32 places recorded day temperature above 40 degree Celsius today. Of them, 29 places recorded temperature above 42 degree Celsius.
