Health Ministry to achieve 100 % vaccination through ‘Har Ghar Dastak’ campaign

New Delhi, Nov 12: Health Ministry is all set to achieve 100 percent vaccination through ‘Har Ghar Dastak’ campaign, said Additional Secretary in Health Ministry, Manohar Agnani. During an interview, Agnani said, right now we are focusing on vaccination for adults. When asked about booster dose, during an online interactive session on the ongoing 'Har Ghar Dastak' campaign he said,80 percent single-dose & 39 percent double doses covered. Under 'Har Ghar Dastak', we want the first dose coverage to reach 90 percent by November 30 and maximum for the 2nd dose. Health workers will knock at every door, check, inspire and motivate about the 'Har Ghar Dastak' mission of the government. Every individual has a role, even of the NGOs and social outfit too. “We have 3 vaccines -Covaxin, Covishield, and SputnikV- so far. We hope the mission will be successfully achieved by November 30”, he added.
