Bhubaneswar: Senior BJP Leader Bishwbhushan Harichandan, who has been appointed as the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, is likely to get additional charge of Telangana Governor.
According to information, the Union Government has recommended to the President to give Harichandan the additional charge of the Governor of Telangana. His new appointment would be known only after a notification is issued from the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
Harichandan is scheduled to be sworn in as the Governor of Andhra Pradesh at 11.30 am on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Harichandan said he would not use ‘Mahahima’ (His Excellency) before his name after being sworn in as the Governor. “I will work as a public servant. I will try to strengthen cultural relation between Odisha and Andhra Pradesh,” said Harichandan.
