Happy Independence Day 2021: Five movies on Independence day

Mumbai, Aug 14: There were two high-budget films that Shershaah and Bhuj already released ahead of the Independence Day weekend. Here are lists of patriotic films to watch next weekend to celebrate Independence Day.

Bhuj: Pride of India

This film showing the glory of Indian unity, star Ajay Devgn’s “Bhuj: The Pride Of India” recreates the Indo-Pak War of 1971 when the IAF line at Bhuj was destroyed in battle. Then 300 local women from Gujarat worked hard every day to rebuild the air base under the direction of IAF Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik. The film will be released on August 13 on Disney + Hotstar.

Uri: Surgical strike

Uri is based on the 2016 Indian Army operation. The film starred Vicky Kaushal and also earned her the National Award for Outstanding Performance as an Army Officer. This film has a patriotic feel to you and is a must see if you are looking for something for the upcoming Independence Day.

Swades

Unlike other films, this film is not about soldiers or war. Swades talks about how ordinary people can do their job as Indian citizens and change the country. In Shah Rukh Khan, this film has an ensemble that presents an extraordinary performance. Swades is one of the finest works of director Govarikar, who directed this solidly built film.

Rang de basanti

This is probably one of the best new era films made with the theme of patriotism. This film is not only about Desh-Bhakti and Naare-Baazi, but really touches the nerves of young people and reveals true love for the country. This is a great choice for anyone looking for good things to see on Independence Day

Kesari

Directed by Anurag Singh, Kesari is a story by Havildar Ishar Singh (Akshay Kumar) and 20 other soldiers in the Anglo-Indian Army. The era of military drama includes the courage shown by a few Jat Sikh soldiers against a thousand Afghan platoons. Akshay Kumar was perfect in dramatizing the Battle of Saragarhi. He also re-released the hit film “Teri Mitti” in honor of health workers during the blockade period.
