Bhubaneswar, May 21: Barbershops, beauty parlours and spa centres on Thursday kickstarted their service after the relaxation of the lockdown in Bhubaneswar.
Barbers, hairdressers and beauty salons are back in business after the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) made some relaxations on restrictions on public activity it enacted to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
All of these shops were closed after the nationwide lockdown was announced to curb the spread of deadly coronavirus.
Salons, spas and beauty parlors in the Capital City were closed due to the coronavirus outbreak. In a bid to prevent the spread of the deadly virus, the BMC had closed these shops in Bhubaneswar.
However, the BMC has allowed the opening of salon, spas and parlor after the issuance of new guidelines.
Only two people are allowed inside the shop, while the use of sanitizer has been made mandatory before going inside. Both the workers at the salons and customers have been asked to follow individual distancing without fail.
