Sambalpur, Ap 14: Hanuman Jayanti is being celebrated with grand festivities across Sambalpur district today. To ensure law and order during the celebrations, district authorities have deployed 52 platoons and over 180 senior police officers in the city.

CCTV cameras have been installed at all sensitive points along the procession route, while drones are being used for strict surveillance. Police checkpoints have been strengthened at various locations to maintain safety and order.

Ahead of the festival, police officials met with local intellectuals to discuss arrangements for a smooth and peaceful procession. Authorities have also sought additional security support from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

The police have appealed to residents to participate enthusiastically while adhering to safety measures, assuring that all necessary precautions have been taken to prevent any unforeseen incidents.
