Grand alliance to be formed to counter BJP, BJD in Odisha: D Raja

Bhubaneswar: Communist Party of India (CPI) national secretary D Raja today said that a grand alliance will be formed between CPI, CPM, JMM and Congress to counter BJD and BJP in the State in the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections due by May.
Raja said this during a party programme here.
Raja said he had held discussions about the alliance with Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee president Niranjan Patnaik.
Ahead of the elections, the Congress is also stitching a grand alliance of political parties to take on the BJP in national level.
