According to sources, the TI parade will be conducted over two days—Friday and Saturday. The victim will identify the accused inside the jail in the presence of a magistrate. Her male friend will also be present during the parade.

On Thursday, the statements of the victim and her male friend were recorded in the aforementioned court under Section 183 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Both of them testified before the court regarding the incident.

Additionally, the statement of a restaurant owner from Gopalpur has also been recorded. Condoms allegedly used by the accused have been seized and sent for medical examination. Since the investigation is ongoing, officials have not disclosed further details.

However, Dr. Sudipa Das, Head of the Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology (FMT), confirmed that the accused had used protection before committing the crime.

On the third day of the investigation, a nine-member Crime Branch team, including an Additional SP, reached Gopalpur police station and held discussions with the IIC and all officers involved in the investigation.
