New Delhi, May 26: Gold prices continued their upward momentum in the national capital on Monday, climbing ₹550 to touch ₹99,300 per 10 grams, as per the All India Sarafa Association. The rise is attributed to steady buying interest from jewellers and retailers.

On Friday, gold (99.9% purity) had settled at ₹98,750 per 10 grams. With this latest increase, the precious metal has gained ₹2,760 per 10 grams since last Wednesday.

Meanwhile, gold of 99.5% purity also saw a significant rise, increasing by ₹500 to ₹98,800 per 10 grams, inclusive of all taxes.
