Global oil markets reacted aggressively on Monday, driving prices up by more than 4 percent following retaliatory strikes by Iran against multiple Gulf nations. Brent Crude climbed to USD 79.17, registering an increase of USD 3.16, while standard crude oil reached USD 74.47. Investors responded instantly to these military confrontations, which directly threaten vital global transit routes.
