Keonjhar, Jan 27: A girl with an MBA degree is contesting the panchayat election in Keonjhar. Monali Das is competing as a Zilla Parishad Member for Keonjhar Zone-10, leaving a private company job with a higher honorarium. Sources said, after having a +3 degree Monali had completed MBA from a premier management institute. Thereafter, she was offered a good marketing job in the managerial rank with a good salary. However, Monali left his job and the grooming careers shortly and opted for public service in the rural suburb, landing to direct politics. Accordingly, she filed her nomination for the post of Zilla Parishad being affiliated with BJP. For the last two days, she has begun to reach the voters to woo in favour of her. “I will be glad to serve people of my village and locality. For a legal forum,I descended to the rural body elections, leaving my formal employment”, said Monali.
