Girl student dies falling from rooftop of hostel in Balasore: parents allege foul play

Balasore, May 19: A girl student has died after falling from the rooftop of the College hostel in Balasore on Thursday. The incident took place at the Prince residential College situated near the Central School in Balasore town. The deceased is Sabita Behera, a +2 second year student who was residing in the College hostel. The boarders of the hostel spotted the body of Sabita in the afternoon and informed the college authority. It was revealed that Sabita died falling from the rooftop of the hostel. However, Sabita’s parents have alleged a foul play behind the death. Her father said that she had been killed after ragging.She was frequently complaining him of the ordeal caused by her friends as she was very good at study. Being informed, police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
