Gautam bags bronze for Odisha in the Khelo India Para Games 2025

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Gautam Singh created history by winning the first-ever medal in Para Table Tennis for the state at the Khelo India Para Games 2025 at Delhi on Thursday. 

Competing in the Men’s Class-2 category, he secured a bronze medal. In a tough semi-final match, Gautam fought hard against Dr. Avinash Gopinath from Tamil Nadu, but lost with scores of 6-11, 4-11, 1-11. Despite the setback, his outstanding performance throughout the tournament earned him a place on the podium.

🏅 Gold – Dr. Avinash Gopinath (Tamil Nadu)
🥈 Silver – Lakashhya Gupta (Haryana)
🥉 Bronze – Gautam Singh (Odisha)
🥉 Bronze – Dave Jai Bhole Pravinbhi (Gujarat)
