Ganjam declares 850-bed dedicated Covid care centres

Berhampur, April 8: Keeping in view of the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic emergency situation in the district and in exigency of the public at large, the district administration has declared six hospitals as Dedicated Covid Care Centres (DCCCs) which will be exclusively used for management of Covid-19 patients.  It is mandatory for the hospital to adhere to strict infection control guideline, use of appropriate person protective Equipments (PPE) by person working in a Dedicated Covid Care Centre (DCCC), other standard precautionary measures, investigation protocols, Oxygen availability for all bed and management guidelines communicated are to be followed strictly. The Nodal Medical Officer will ensure all Clinical Management including clinical HR deployment and overall Day to day management of the DCCCs. {"id":106697,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"none"} {"id":106696,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"none"} Similarly, the main function of the Hospital Manger is to handle day to day Hospital management such as food/diet for the patient/staff, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene of the hospital, bio-medical waste management, security arrangement, stay arrangement of Doctors & other staffs by ensuring isolation facilities. She/he will work in close coordination with Nodal Medical Officer (NMO) & Nodal Administrative Officer (NAO), DCCC in all respect for smooth management of the DCCCs.
