Nandigram, Mar 26: The game of Mamata Banerjee will end during this election, said Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who is looking after BJP’s election campaign in the crucial Nandigram constituency. Pradhan while addressing a public rally said that BJP is definitely going to win Nandigarm. “There is anti-incumbency against the atrocities on poor, women, and common man of that area. Voters will give a befitting reply to the hooliganism of the ruling TMC. BJP is fighting for rights of the voters,” said Pradhan. The Minister further said that voters of Bengal have been deprived of the benefits of Central schemes. “People of Bengal have been deprived of benefits of Central schemes for last 10 years for which they are in need of a change. Voters will give a befitting reply to the TMC in this poll,” added Pradhan. Pradhan along with Meghnad Pal, election agent of Suvendu Adhikari also submitted a petition to BDO Nandigram-I to highlight the gross negligence and collusion of the police with the TMC and for conducting free and fair elections in the constituency. The prestige battle between Mamata and her former minister Suvendu has hogged the political spotlight that is expected to witness a close fight with politics changing its course day-by-day in Nandigram. While the contest in Nandigram was seen to be tough one with political speculations favouring Mamata, it has changed its course with time. Mega rallies and campaigns in support of Suvendu are clearly seen after Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan led his poll campaign.
