Gajapati ACF death mystery: Postmortem report handed over to Soumya’s family

Gajapati, July 26: Crime Branch handed over the postmortem report of Paralakhemundi ACF Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra to his family on Monday. A team of Crime Branch led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Bijay Kumar Mallik delivered the report to Soumya’s father. However, the family members expressed discontent over the course of the investigation. Soumya’s father has demanded again to arrest Soumya’s wife Bidya Bharati Panda immediately. He threatened to stage a demonstration if his daughter-in-law is not arrested. It is worth mentioning, Paralakhemundi ACF Soumya Ranjan died in a suspicious condition on July 12 after he sustained critical burn injuries.
