Fresh low pressure likely to trigger rain in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Sep 7: According to a forecast made by the Centre for Environment and Climate (CEC), SOA Deemed to be University, the state will experience rainfall from September 13 due to formation of a fresh low-pressure over West Central Bay of Bengal . CEC director S C Sahu said Koraput, Malkangiri, Gajapati, Ganjam, Rayagada,Nabarangpur, Kalahandi and Kandhamal districts are likely to witness rainfall between Seprember 12 and 15. Probability of heavy rainfall at one or two locations in these districts cannot be ruled out, he added.
