Free WiFi service launched at Jarapada railway station in Angul

Bhubaneswar, May 17: The Indian Railways launched free WiFi service at Jarapada station on Monday as the first remote station of Angul district. According to the railway authorities, passengers can avail free internet service with it. It will help them book online tickets, source trains, check PNR status and collect information on railways, logging the site of the department. However, the first thirty minutes for a user is free of cost. Subsequent, browsing will be allowed after online payment. Accordingly, users have to fulfill the essential conditions to use additional data within the premises of the station. Notably, Indian Railways has functioned more than six thousand WiFi compatible stations across the country. Jarapada is the first remote station in Angul district to have this ultra modern facility.
