Four tourists from Bengal rescued from drowning at Puri beach

Puri, Feb 6: As many as four tourists from Bengal were today rescued from Puri sea beach after they were swept away in the strong tide, The tourists have been identified as Govinda Dhar, Tanashiri Dhar, Babaula Malakar and Juma Malakar. All the tourists hailed from Howrah and Santaragachi in Bengal. Eyewitnesses said that all of them were swept away in the sea while taking a bath. Later lifeguards with the help of personnel of Odisha Fire Service rescued them and rushed them to the District Headquarters Hospital.  All of them have been discharged from hospital after preliminary treatment.
