Four persons arrested for loan fraud in Kalahandi, master mind absconds

Kalahandi, 14/11: A sum of Rs 500 has been allegedly collected from the self help group members each in Kalahandi district on the false promise of advancing loan. A complaint to this effect has been lodged in Bhawanipatna Town police station. {"id":20382,"sizeSlug":"large"} Acting upon the complaint, police raided the e-gram centre at Mandar Bagichapada and has started investigation detaining the e-gram employees in the police station. Four persons- Sonu Tandi, Tanurjay Bhoi, Laxmi Tandi and Sanatan Sa- were arrested while the master mind Dinabandhu Behera has absconded. So far, complaints have been received from 110 women self help group members while it is suspected that money has been collected from various areas of the district on the false promise of providing loan.
