Forest team recovers teak wood from abandoned room in Ganjam

Sanakhemundi, Feb 19: Digapahandi forest officials have recovered a huge quantity of teak planks from an abandoned house near Chikiti Pentha. Forest sources said, acting on a reliable tiff-off, Digapahandi forest department raided an abandoned house where teak planks in large scale were concealed for illegal trade. Police seized the wooden planks estimated worth around 3.5 lakh and registered a case in this regard. However, no clue has been obtained regarding the peddlers, said a forest official.
