Five held for looting micro finance employee in Balangir

Balangir, Aug 08: Khaprakhol Police of Balangir district arrested five criminals for looting a Micro Finance employee from near OAV School in Patnagarh town. Police have seized Rs 5500 cash, three bikes, two tablets, and nine mobile phones from their possession, informed Patnagarh SDPO Jyotirmaya Bhukta. As per the information, the looters had looted one Khitish Behera from Khaprakhol-Patnagarh Road near OAV School. The looters fled from the spot with his mobile phone, tablet and other important documents. A complaint in this regard was lodged with Khaprakhol police. The police nabbed the looters on the basis of CCTV footage. The arrested looters have been identified as Purandar Kumar of Kutamunda village, Keshab Barik of Munda pala village, Govind Kalsae of Ghunghutipali, Tarani Jagdala of Bhalupita and one minor boy under Tushura Police limits. The police informed that more than 4 cases have been registered against the accused. Out of the 5 accused, 4 have been sent to Patnagarh court while the juvenile accused has been sent to Rourkela Juvenile Court.
