Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government will provide a financial assistance for house building in cyclone Titli and subsequent flood affected areas in the State.
While Rs 1,01,900 assistance would be given to families for hilly areas Rs 98,000 would be provided for families in plain areas.
In cases of partially damaged houses, Rs 5200 for pucca houses, Rs 3200 for kutcha ones and Rs 4100 for huts will be provided, said Joint Relief Commissioner Prabhat Ranjan Mohapatra.
Besides, Rs 2,000 for utensils and Rs 1m800 for clothes will also be given to the affected persons, Mohapatra added.
Mohapatra further informed that financial assistance for loss of livestock will be provided at the rate of Rs 30,000 for loss of a cow and Rs 25,000 for the loss of an ox.
