Cuttack, Nov 24: The family members of a student, who had allegedly committed suicide, have lodged a complaint with Cuttack SP (Rural) against the local police for not investigating the case properly. The family members have sought a fair and unbiased probe into the matter. According to the report, a student named Swarnaprabha Behera had committed suicide in Salepur on November 9 and the family member had recovered a suicide note after the incident. Suspecting some foul play in this incident, the family members had lodged a complaint in Salipur police station. However, they alleged that after nine days of the complaint, the police have changed the date and modified the FIR to suppress the case.
