Bhubaneswar,Jan16:Mushrooming of fake web sites has been a new threat for the netizens. It may affect the coming Joint entrance main exam, that is why National Test Agency (NTA) has issued an advisory for the expectant students and guardians.
Director General of NTA Binit Joshi has advised the students to be careful for the JEE main examination that is to be held in February-21.He warned that some spurious websites like jeeguide.co.in are misleading students. Even they dupe the students through sites and helpline numbers mentioned there.
Joshi has clarified that the official website of NTA is jeemain.nta.nic.in. Students should refer it for assistance.
Stating that duping through the net is now a smart modus operandi for the miscreants, the NTA chief said the students are mostly cheated in the national level entrances examinations.
He informed that JEE main examination will be held for 4 times this year. First phase of the exam will be conducted from Feb 23 to 26. The last date for application is January 16-17.
