Fake note racket busted, two held in Kalahandi

Kalahandi: Police have busted a fake currency racket and arrested two persons in Dharamgarh block of Kalahandi district.
Fake notes worth Rs 17,000 of Rs 500 denomination each were seized from their possession.
Acting on a complaint, police arrested Kulamani Naik of Gadiajor village and Rajendra Bhoi of Kutru village late on Thursday night.
Police is investigating the matter.
It is suspected that a major fake currency note racket is behind such operation.
In recent past, fake notes worth lakhs of rupees were seized from different parts of the State including Bhadrak, Balasore, Boudh and Kandhamal.
