Fake doctor of Odisha has now three more wives, numbers may increase

Bhubaneswar, Feb 16: The 60-year-old fake doctor Ramesh Swain, who had 14 wives from different states, now has three more wives, informed Bhubaneswar DCP Umashankar Dash. Surprisingly, the three wives include a doctor from Guwahati, a Chartered accountant from Chhatisgarh, and a highly educated woman from Odisha. “The number of wives may increase. we have already initiated an investigation. The fake doctor will be taken in remand for further investigation," added DCP Dash. A special team has been formed for investigation including IIC of Mahila Police Station, two sub-inspectors, and one NGO Counselor. It has been alleged that he was residing at a rented house in Patrapada showing fake identity documents in 2021. Notably, the Romeo of Odisha’s Kendrapara has married more than a dozen women from various cities including Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Delhi.
