Ex Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik visits Durga Puja pandals in Bhubaneswar, gets rousing welcome

Bhubaneswar, Oct 11: Former Chief Minister of Odisha and Leader of Opposition in state Assembly Naveen Patnaik visited several Durga Puja pandals in Bhubaneswar on the occasion of Ashtami celebrations today.
Patnaik first took blessing of Goddess Durga at Rasulgarh mandap. Later, he visited Saheed Nagar and Badagada puja pandals.
He was accompanied by former Minister Ashok Chandra Panda, Bhubaneswar Mayor Sulochana Das and other BJD leaders.
He was accorded rousing welcome by puja committee members and public at every puja pandal as he arrived to take blessings at various mandaps.
An unusual rush erupted at the mandaps soon after people present there got to know that Naveen Patnaik has come to offer his prayers.
People were seen trying to take selfie with the former Chief Minister of Odisha. Patnaik also greeted people waving hands with a smiling face respecting the people’s sentiment.
