Evaluation of Matric exam answer papers to start from May 21

Bhubaneswar, May 13: The evaluation process of the Matric exams answer papers will begin will begin from May 21 at 58 evaluation centres across the state, informed Dr Nihar Ranjan Mohanty, Vice President of Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha. The evaluation of answer sheets of students, who appeared for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC), Madhyama and State Open School Certificate (SOSC) exams will be conducted. According to the BSE, the examiners will reach the evaluation centres at 10 AM on May 20 and the actual valuation will start from May 21. As many as 481 chief examiners, 900 deputy chief examiners, 8919 assistant examiners and 930 scrutinisers will be engaged for the evaluation work, said the board. The evaluation is expected to continue for 10 to 12 days. After the evaluation, results will be uploaded online. The matric examination 2022 was held between April 29 and May 7. More than 5.85 lakh students wrote the annual exam this year.
