EOW arrests Koraput based industrialist for duping 4.8 cr.

Bhubaneswar, April 9: The Economic Offence Wing, Bhubaneswar arrested a Koraput based industrialist for allegedly duping 4.8 crore from a man of Karnataka on Thursday. The accused has been identified as Alaga Muthu Shankar of Jeypore who is the proprietor of Shankar granite Industries at Boriguma in Koraput. As per the EOW official, Shankar duped Rs 4.8 crore from Jagannath Rao, who is a Research Personnel of Samsung Electronics of Karnataka on the pretext of film making and mines license. Jagannath Rao lodged a complaint with EOW in this regard on February 22. Basing on it, EOW wing of Bhubaneswar led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Debendra Narayan Dash arrested Alaga Muthushankar from Jeypore yesterday.
