Cuttack, Nov 28: Eminent educationalist and founder of Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital Prof. (Dr.) Manojranjan Nayak was felicitated on the concluding day of the Platinum Jubilee of SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
Nayak was felicitated by Principal of SCB Medical College Prof. Dr. Datteswar Hota for his contribution to the field of technical education and medical sciences.
His contribution was appreciated by the other eminent guests present on the occasion.
The Srirama Chandra Bhanja Medical College and Hospital (SCB MCH) celebrated its Platinum jubilee for completing 75 years in the health care field.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has also joined the event via video conference as the chief guest on the inaugural day of the event.
The Chief Minister said, “It is my dream that nobody from Odisha should be forced to go outside for better medical treatment. We shall provide the best in SCB. For 75 years, the SCB has supported us, now it is our turn to give it back.”
“It is my dream to see SCB transforming into an AIIMS PLUS Institution, to have cutting edge technology in medical services to provide the best that modern medical science can provide”, he added.
