<strong>Elephant tramples youth to death in Dhenkanal</strong>

Dhenkanal, May 22: A youth has been trampled to death in Dhenkanal on Sunday. The incident had taken place at the Buhalipal forest on late night of Saturday while the body of the deceased, Nava Pradhan was spotted today. Sources said, Nava Pradhan, a native of Chittalpur village under the Rasol police limits left for the neighbouring village on his bicycle. However, he accidentally came across a lone elephant while he was passing by the Buhalipal forest in the evening. Consequently, the jumbo trampled him under its feet and he died on the spot. Being informed, Forest officials of the Hindol Forest Range recovered the body and handed over it to police.
