Elephant carcass found in Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal, Feb 12: Locals spotted the carcass of an elephant lying in a nullah under Hindol forest range in the district on Friday and informed the forest department.
The forest officials rushed to the spot and recovered the body. It was identified as body of a makhna elephant.
The wild animal has died due to a fight among elephants, said DFO.
